Participants receive all the necessary equipment, training, and other resources to succeed in the program.
Yes, you will receive a $8,000 stipend (minus taxes).
No! Given the collaborative nature of the program, interactive workshops/sessions, and ongoing team projects, the program requires 100% of your commitment during the 7-weeks of The New Technologists. We strongly recommend not taking on additional projects outside of the program during this time.
Yes, preference is given to early application submissions.
Yes, but you must have authorization to work in the U.S and a social security number. All selected participants will be required to pass a background check and complete the program in person in Redmond, WA.
You will be immersed in web technology that will include HTML, CSS, and React. It is highly encouraged to brush up on the fundamentals of those languages prior to starting the program.
Housing can be provided and arranged by Cyborg Mobile if needed.
The summer program will start June 24th and will end August 9th, 2023. It will be in person at the Microsoft Redmond, WA campus.
A typical workday runs from 9am-5pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday. There are some days where the program will start a little earlier and participants are informed well in advance so they can plan accordingly.
