Depending on the program! We require all Academy students to dedicate 100% of their time during program duration. Fellowship participants have more wiggle-room so long as you hit the 10 hour commitment.
Yes, but you must have authorization to work in the U.S and a social security number. All selected participants will be required to pass a background check and complete the program.
You will be immersed in web technology that will include HTML, CSS, and React. It is highly encouraged to brush up on the fundamentals of those languages prior to starting the program.
A typical Academy workday runs from 9am-5pm Pacific Time Monday through Friday. There are some days where the program will start a little earlier and participants are informed well in advance so they can plan accordingly. The fellowship is self-paced.
